Water filter cartridges clean polluted water to a state-required by production and life, removes solid particles in water, kills bacteria, filters harmful chemical components, and makes water reach a certain cleanliness. Therefore, the water purifier needs regular maintenance, cleaning and replacement of the water filter cartridges so as to ensure the health of the water quality and prevent secondary pollution. But when should the water filter cartridges be replaced?

Four signals remind us to change the water filter cartridges:

1. The water produced by the water purifier becomes smaller: under the same conditions (such as the same water pressure and temperature), the water produced by the water purifier becomes smaller, so it is possible that the water filter cartridges are blocked, and if the water filter cartridges exceed the use time, it is necessary to replace the water filter cartridges with a new one.

2. RO reverse osmosis water purifier produces water too fast: the water outlet of the water purifier is obviously accelerated, which is generally caused by the damage of the RO membrane. At this time, we must replace the RO membrane, otherwise, the water purifier will completely lose its filtering function.

3. The taste of the outlet water from the water purifier is very poor: this is because there are too many impurities and bacteria filtered by the water filter cartridges and the accumulated time at the water filter cartridges is too long, causing secondary pollution to the tap water, which is also telling us that the water filter cartridges need to be replaced.

4. The service life of the water filter cartridges is limited. If the water quality is polluted seriously, the water filter cartridges cannot reach the specified service life at all. Even if the water quality is good, it is not recommended to wait until the water filter cartridges expire before changing. It is recommended to replace the water filter cartridges when its service life reaches about 80% of its ideal life.
